Discover Scuba Diving (DSD)

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) experience is a fun, one-time try dive designed for beginners who want to experience the thrill of scuba without committing to a full course. This is not a certification course but a chance to see if diving is right for you. At Maputo Dive Center, you’ll have an introductory pool session in Maputo, followed by your first open water dive in the beautiful waters of Ponta do Ouro. If you prefer, we can also run the pool session in Ponta do Ouro. Courses are available in English and Portuguese. Dive in and discover the underwater world with the guidance of our experienced local instructors.
